v1.5.00 - December 7, 2010

Formula editing bug fix
Editing long formulas didn't properly show the insertion point. This has been corrected.
Responsiveness fix
The Pre2 exhibited a significant responsiveness issue. That was fixed and the fix may have positive benefit to other devices as well.

v1.4.00 - October 25, 2010

Assignable function keys (full version only)
You can now re-assign the A-F keys to be any of the functions normally accessed with the Fn key.
Performance improvements
Found something that seems to have notably improved responsiveness.
Minor bug fix
Tape and memory draweres were not repositioned at the top when reopened.

v1.3.00 - August 24, 2010

Save tape
You may now save the tape between sessions (paid version only). This is enabled by default.
1/x function
By request, you can now calculate reciprocals with the 1/x function.
Hex <-> decimal keyboard shortcut
In the paid version, pressing h or $ will swap between decimal and hexadecimal.
Fixed bug with functions saving to tape improperly
Functions overwrote the topmost entry on the tape instead of adding a new entry.
More informative tape
Previously, percentage values and exponent values were not shown on the tape, now they are.

v1.2.00 - May 18, 2010

Comma support
Now you can optionally display commas in the result number.
Exponentiation
There is now a function to raise a number to a power.
Performance improvements
Code changes may improve performance in some situations.

v1.1.00 - February 2, 2010

Keyboard input!
You can now use the physical keyboard to enter numbers. Note that this is not available in twoCalcFree -- only the paid version. (Thanks to our customers who suggested this!)
Optional vibrate on keypress
By popular demand from our customers, you can now set twoCalc to vibrate your phone as you press each key.
Calculator tape reformatted
The caclulcator tape now is more readable and long calculations don't cause the lines to overflow on top of each other.
Conversions recorded on tape
When you do a unit conversion, the conversion is recorded on the tape as well.
Longer tape when running on Pre
The calculator tape is now longer on the Pre than on the Pixi to better take advantage of the larger screen.
Bonus status line
The empty area below the calculator is reserved for phone notifications. But if you don't have any active notification icons, you will now see your last calculation here.
Bigger or smaller font
If you'd like the numbers to be a bit larger (to be more readable) or a bit smaller (to fit more on the screen), you can now do that!
New unit conversions
You can now convert between knots & MPH, grams & ounces, and liters & gallons. (Thanks to our customers who suggested these!)
Black background
The gray background for the calculator was replaced with a black one giving twoCalc a little sleeker look. (Also suggested by a customer.)
Key font color is selectable
You can now chose from multiple colors for the letters and symbols on the keyboard. The full paid version has more color options than the free version.
More keyboard color options
Added several new key color options. Darker options were added to both versions and the paid version got some new pastel-like colors as well.
Editing fixes
There were a couple situations where using the arrows to edit the calculation didn't work entirely properly. The bugs we could find have been fixed.
Pressing equals twice generated an error
Now it doesn't--the calculation line is simply cleared.
Menu cleanup
There were some scenes which didn't have the proper menus displayed or disabled.
Default colors button didn't always work
Now it does.
Online message retrieval
We added a process that allows twoCalc to periodically fetch hints, tips, and other messages, as well as the latest available version, directly from our server. The messages are pushed to the status line at startup and the messages are dated so you won't see the same message more than once, although you can see all available messages at any time from the help scene. You can turn off the check for updated messages in twoCalc, but not in twoCalcFree.
Help scene updates
As well as including the online messages and alerting you to availability of a new version, the help scene now also includes a link to our twitter feed.
Reduced maximum digits after decimal
JavaScript's reliance on floating point numbers leads to rounding errors out around 14-15 places after the decimal point. We've decided therefore to limit the maximum digits shown to 14 and make the default for new installs 8. If you already had selected a value less than 15, you won't see any change.
Updated documentation
The FAQ and online reference manual were updated for all these changes.
