How do I use this?
  1. Fill in one or two words. Phil will tell you how many and if he needs a noun, adjective, verb or adverb. Or trust Phil to come up with the right words for the situation. (This may be misguided trust.)
  2. Tap Phil's scroll of wisdom to receive a nugget of wisdom.
  3. So wise it must be shared? Tap his laptop to email or text it to a friend.
  4. Not wise enough? Tap his phone again for a new sentence. Again you can choose words or let Phil choose.

How many sayings and words are in the application?
A lot. If you check this faq in the actual app on the device it will tell you the current counts!

Can I send Phil's sentence to a friend?
Yes, tap Phil's laptop to send his latest sentence to a real friend via text message or email.

Will Phil insult me or use off-color or swear words?
Phil's studies have encouraged him to shun negative thoughts, so you will not find negative or off-color words in his vocabulary. Phil will not intentionally say anything offensive or derogatory. However, years in isolation have prevented him from staying current with slang. He may unwittingly use a word or phrase with a secondary, more "colorful" meaning. Phil asks for your understanding and forgiveness. (In such a case, please email us and we will help Phil to modernize his vocabulary.)

Is Phil a bug?
Yes, yes Phil is a talking bug. One in a long line of entertaining, talking insects, such as a singing cricket with a top hat and cane. A spider who weaves words--correctly spelled words, no less! Yes, Phil is aware that a spider is not actually an insect but an arachnid. He just really likes that story. Phil is proud to represent intelligent insects everywhere.
