How do I use this?
  1. Fill in one or two words. Fran will tell you how many and if she needs a noun, adjective, verb or adverb. Or let Fran randomly choose for you.
  2. Tap Fran's cell phone to receive a bit of conversation.
  3. Is it just what you needed to hear? To share the moment, tap her laptop to email or text it to a friend.
  4. Not good enough? Tap her phone again for a new sentence. Again you can choose words or let Fran choose.

How many sayings and words are in the application?
A lot. If you check this faq in the actual app on the device it will tell you the current counts!

Can I send Fran's sentence to a friend?
Yes, tap Fran's laptop to send her latest sentence to a real friend via text message or email.

Will Fran insult me or use off-color or swear words?
Those words are not in her vocabulary, but if you enter them, she will dutifully include them in her sentence. However, Fran can't keep up with all slang or hidden meanings behind words, so she may inadvertently say something that could be taken the wrong way. Please give Fran the benefit of the doubt. Or send us an email so we can improve her vocabulary.

Can you compare Fran with a real friend?
You probably shouldn't compare Fran to your real friends, but if you do, hopefully the comparison will look something like this:
Real Friend Fran the fill-in friend
Sometimes babbles nonsenseFran, too. Quite often, actually.
Says nice things to you but occasionally sticks foot in her mouthFran, too. But she won't outright insult you unless you tell her to.
Wants to make you laughFran, too. But she's not hurt if you don't laugh.
Wants to tell you what she's heardFran, too. She likes to chat.
Has an actual lifeNot Fran. She will chat with you tirelessly and not even get distracted if a cute guy walks by.
If you find yourself enjoying Fran's company more than your real friends, then you may need new friends. Maybe Phil or Stan?
